Aaron is a native of the St. Louis Metro area, and grew up in Florissant, Missouri. He was raised in a working class family who faced their share of struggles, which came to a head when his father lost most of his vision and became disabled. Watching his father's life savings and livelihood slip away after a lifetime of hard work motivated Aaron to work hard in school, so he could help other people avoid the same fate or worse.
He received his bachelor's degree in History from Saint Louis University, graduating summa cum laude in 2009. He then received his juris doctorate from Saint Louis University in 2012. While he was in law school, Aaron clerked for the firm, where he got his first taste of the rewards that come from representing injured people.
Before joining the firm, Aaron worked at private firms in Edwardsville and Belleville, where he defended local businesses as well as municipalities throughout Southern Illinois, including police and fire departments, school districts, and other local governmental departments primarily in workers' compensation claims.
Since then, Aaron returned to his roots and joined Rich, Rich, Cooksey & Chappell, P.C. in July of 2019 as a partner. He now devotes his practice solely to representing individuals who are injured on the job or due to the negligence of others. His background of representing employers and insurance carriers gives him a unique edge in knowing the best strategies to fight for the rights of injured people.
